Vampire/Angel Literature and Johnnie Walker Tonight

As of late, I've been REALLY into Vampire Literature. Now, I've always been fasinated with the undead. Mostly movies and tv shows (yes, I'm talking about Buffy and Angel mostly). But I didn't know there were sooooo many vampire novels and series. I'm baffled to be honest and I'm oh so intrigued. I swear I feel like I'm going on my 25th book here on the subject. Also, I've been going a little on the light side as to reading a few Angel books as well (not as in Angel the vampire but Angel the winged folks). This have also been consuming much of my time

It all started with Twilight movies. Bah! However, I've moved on to bigger and better things. I've read with rankings (on a scale from 1-5):

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (including The Short life of Bree Tanner)- 3 1/2 stars
Morganville Vampies by Rachel Caine (not including #9 that I'm like dying to come out. I'm completely addicted)- 5 stars
Vampire Acadamy by Richelle Mead (I cannot believe the freaking series finale comes out in December!!! I'm totally bummed about that)- 5 1/5 stars
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side and Wedding by Beth Fantaskey(Its aight. It kept me occupied for a few days. I wonder if they are going to come out with a first baby book? hmmmm)- 3 stars
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz (I read 'em but I really couldn't get as captivated as I would normally. Eh.)- 2 stars
Thirst by Christopher Pike (I finished the first book and started but couldn't finish the 2nd one. Tres a bit boring for me)- 1 star
Blood Coven by Mari Mancusi (I've read Books 1, 2 and started 3... BTW, these books have been the ones to inspire this blog. :) Much grass to the author to inspire another author)- 4 1/2 stars

And now moving on to the few Angelic novels...
Fallen by Lauren Kate (What a tormential (no pun intended since the 2nd book in this series is called Torment and will be coming out later this month, I believe) novel that is just so addictive. Really I'm like counting down the days until the 2nd book! *bites nails*)- 5 stars
Halo by Alexadra Adornetto (This is a nice book, its not as dark as the rest but nonetheless, its still a good read. With nice morals but it still tugs at your heartstrings.)- 4 stars
Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (I love this novel. Its a little all over the place but I love it. Its a little like fallen to me but all in the same, they are both very different and very similar love stories but I'm totally all about)- 4 1/2 stars

I've managed to download a crap load more that I haven't even begun to read yet! And where do I read them you might ask yourself? I read them at work *sigh* and at night when my girlfriend is busy watching her Novela :)

Tonight, after work I'm going to hit the down with some work friends and head to the Johnnie Walker Stride Walking tasting. It should be fun. This is my second time going, so lets see how it goes. The first one I nearly choked on pepper corns since the dude giving the talk/walk/thing told us to dunk a strawberry into pepper (which btw, is the only thing i'm known to be allergic to... freaking pepper corns) and I coughed for hours after my stride and broke out into hives. Fun times. Lol

Anyways, I'm close to quitting time so I should be on my way to be changing in a minute. Should be blogging soon, I really missed it!! :)
